The weather may be unpredictable but one thing for sure is that the DFW is booming with holiday events this month! Greet the season with cheer and partake in many of the holiday festivities that Dallas has to offer!

12 Days of Christmas – Dallas Arboretum
Nov. 22 – Jan. 4, 2015
The Dallas Arboretum sparked a new Christmas event in the metroplex this year with Christmas entertainment under 25-foot Victorian gazebos surrounding the gardens! The botanical garden illuminates with sparkling Christmas lights and extravagant holiday decor on all sides of each gazebo, providing a three-dimensional experience as you walk through! This is a must see event for the entire family!

Dallas Children’s Health Holiday Parade – Downtown Dallas
Dec. 6
Line up along Commerce Street in Downtown Dallas for the largest, outdoor one-day event in the city!! Starting at 10 a.m., the parade will make its way from the Aldolphus Hotel down to City Hall, sending holiday cheer to over 400,000 parade attendees the entire way! Tickets prices range from $22.50-$65 depending on the viewing section you choose and can be purchased online at www.childrens.com/parade.

Culture Map Holiday Pop Up Shop – Sixty Five Hundred
Dec. 7
Everyone’s favorite source for all things Dallas is hosting a festive holiday shopping event this month! From noon to 6 p.m., Dallasites are invited to CultureMap’s pop up holiday boutique filled with the best local retailers! Get your holiday shopping done for everyone as retailers for men, women, kids, pets jewelry, and home will be represented! As if that isn’t enough to entice you, cocktails, carolers and complimentary gift wrapping is available to make your shopping experience that much better!

Santa Days at The Plaza at Preston Center 
Dec. 6, 13 and 20
For the 18th year in a row, The Plaza at Preston Center is  bringing Santa to Dallas ! From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., families are invited to have a professional picture taken with Santa and a couple of his famous reindeer, Rudolph and Comet! Pictures are complimentary but families are asked to make a monetary donation to the North Texas Food Bank to enable them to continue to provide meals for  children, families and the elderly in North Texas!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer – Majestic Theater Dallas
Dec. 16-21
Experience a cultured holiday celebration at the Christmas musical starring the ever-popular Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! Enjoy this playful event with your entire family!
